description: Our signature 1-hour Tour & Tasting Experience invites you behind the scenes for a closer look at the craft, history, and rum-making process that define Hilton Head Island’s first and only distillery.

Begin with a behind-the-scenes tour through our active production space, where your Rumslinger will walk you through the rum-making process from fermentation and distillation to blending and bottling, while sharing the story behind Hilton Head Distillery and the history of rum along the way.

With up-close access to our Still House and interactive elements throughout the tour, you’ll get a closer look at the craftsmanship, process, and passion behind every bottle we produce.

Then, settle into our private tasting room overlooking the Still House for a guided sampling of six of our favorite rums, served neat. The lineup is designed to showcase the range of what we do, from the spirit that serves as the foundation of many of our rums, to guest-favorite flavored offerings, and our aged rum.

Whether you’re a curious local, first-time visitor, or returning guest, this experience offers one of the best ways to get to know Hilton Head Distillery.

Tasting
After your adventure through the distillery, embark on a tasting journey. Sample six of our finest craft spirits, served neat, as you overlook the Still House. Each sip offers a taste of Hilton Head Distillery’s commitment to authenticity and adventure.
check_in_details: The experience lasts about an hour. We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes early and using the restroom before we get started.
special_requirements: Safety first! Closed-toe shoes are required for the tour, since you'll be walking through our active production area. Feel free to bring a change of shoes for after.
restrictions: No one under 21 is permitted on the tour.
