When you arrive at Hilton Head Helicopter, our friendly team will be there to answer your questions and guide you through the process. After check-in, you'll meet your Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) for a brief overview of SFAR regulations and basic training.
In just 15 minutes, you'll learn the essentials to prepare you to take the controls. Once you’ve signed your Liability Release and logbook endorsement, it’s time to head to the helicopter! Your expert pilot will introduce you to the aircraft, walk you through pre-flight checks, and then it’s time to take off for an exciting 30-minute flight! Feel the rush as you take control and experience the freedom of flight!

S.F.A.R. & Ground Safety Briefing
Before we take off, your CFI will provide a comprehensive S.F.A.R. (Special Federal Aviation Regulation) briefing and a detailed ground safety course. These will cover essential procedures and safety protocols to ensure you are fully prepared. -
Pre-Flight Inspection
With your CFI, you will conduct a thorough pre-flight inspection of the helicopter, ensuring everything is ready for takeoff. -
Exciting 30-Minute Helicopter Flight
Finally, it’s time to take to the skies! Get ready for an unforgettable 30-minute flight, where you'll experience the thrill of a helicopter flight while enjoying breathtaking views from above. Important Information for Your Hilton Head Helicopter Tour
Complimentary Parking
Parking is free for all Hilton Head Helicopter guests.
Arrival Time
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled flight. This allows sufficient time for check-in, safety briefings, and airport procedures.
Because seating is limited, punctual arrival is essential. Guests who arrive late may lose their reserved spot. If we are able to accommodate you on a later flight, a $50 rescheduling fee will apply. If no alternative flight times are available, the reservation will be forfeited and no refund can be provided.
Weight & Safety Requirements
For the safety and comfort of all passengers, our helicopters operate under strict FAA weight limitations.
Maximum weight per passenger: 300 lbs
Maximum combined passenger weight: 600 lbs
All passengers will be weighed during check-in as required by FAA regulations. Weight information is kept strictly confidential and is only shared with the flight crew for operational purposes.
Mobile Phone Policy
Due to airport safety regulations and active aircraft operations, mobile phones may not be used on the ramp area.
Once aboard the helicopter, phones are welcome, and we encourage you to capture the incredible views during your flight. Professional photos will also be available for purchase after your tour.
Weather Conditions
All flights are weather permitting. Safety is our highest priority, and weather conditions may require delays, rescheduling, or other adjustments to the flight schedule. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
