highlights: Tours to Disappearing Island can only happen when the moon and the tides are just right, if this tour is available while on your vacation, this is the one you want to book. Disappearing island is a shoal located just off the tip of Daufuskie Island and it only appears at the lowest of the monthly tides.

On a Disappearing Island tour you will experience everything from one of our famous dolphin tours like viewing the dolphin up close, learning them by name and their habits, along with some great music, laughs and a bunch of surprises for the kids. But that’s not all, the boat will pull right up to the sand and give you chance to hop off and explore. We typically see all sorts of shells including sand dollars and starfish. You’ll get a chance to learn about all of the items you see and as always, we never keep anything living.

CAN WE FEED, TOUCH, OR SWIM WITH THE DOLPHINS?
Lowcountry Watersports strives to protect wild dolphins. Dolphins are protected by the National Marine Mammal Act; therefore, we do not touch, chase, pursue, harass, feed, or swim with wild dolphins. It is illegal and considered inhumane.
