CoastalGuide Bob, please transmit this to all of your other tourism interests on the CoastalGuide: I want to relay an experience I recently had that helps to emphasize exactly the potential power that CoastalGuide has. I was on Ocracoke Island, checking out of a motel that is a member of our Chamber of Commerce and incidentally has chosen to advertise on the CoastalGuide. The owners were both standing there and as I took the opportunity to tell them that we appreciated their support, a gentleman who was in line behind me overheard our conversation and spoke up. This visitor said that when he went on the internet to look for information about Ocracoke, the CoastalGuide site was the one he got the most information from, and now nice the site was. He went on to say that he had even found the particular motel we were in and that was why he was there. I felt really good listening to him talk about something that I knew I had a part in, and I'm sure the motel owner was delighted to hear that his advertising dollars were paying off as well. Here was a satisfied customer, who had just spent money in my county...the world is well! Thanks Bob, for helping us promote coastal North Carolina.
